I was born in 1960 in Istanbul where I still live. I attended Saint Michel French Highschool and graduated from Rustu Uzel Girls Professional Arts Highschool.After working at Gorbon-Isil Ceramics Factory, at Ayfer Karamani Ceramics Shop and at several other sectors, I realized that I best express myself by jewelry.
Since 2003, I have been passionately designing jewelry. In 2007, I participated twice a jewelry and ceramics exhibition together with the ceramics artist Manolya Ozyener at
Arkeopera Art Gallery. The exhibitions’ concept were on “Inspirations from the Nature”.
In 2010, I opened my first private exhibition “Windows Opening To The Senses” at Ayse Taki Art Gallery.
In 2011, I participated joint exhibitions together with Fatma Nur Bayraktar and her team at Arkeopera Art Gallery named “Love To Wear” and at Ayse Taki Art Gallery named “Excellent Cooperations”.
I currently continue to work on different techniques by using natural and semi-natural valuable stones, pure silver wires, silver clays and glass beads at my private shop. www.isilipekci.tr.com.tr
